Show TELEPHONE MERCER BEGUN IN PARK CITY PARK CITV. July 1 C. C. Pratt. TV. B. Beveraa-e, H. H. Balller and Mlas I.. Worley. all connected with the Bell Telephone Tele-phone company, arrived here yesterday. Mr. Pratt announced that the work of cutting In the Independent with the Bell telephone system would begin at once. He said that the office now occupied oc-cupied by the Bell system would henceforth hence-forth be the home of both. He haa mm. ured the people that none will loae by the change except the buslnees houaea downtown which had both telephones Installed. In-stalled. The cable are the only part of the old Independent system that will be used. The other equipment will he disposed dis-posed of. probably to some rural telephone tele-phone company. W. B. Beverave and H. H. Balller will oversee the construction work, which It Is expected will he finished by the last of this week. Manager Bailey will he retained as manacer here and It ts probable prob-able that Manasjer Tom Cammlck of the Independent company will be retained tn the service of the Bell company although al-though It Is not known whether ha' will remain here ox not. |
