Show Horses naturally take fright when they first see a camel. Suppose the horses on, Main street had in concert done that Saturday morning and started through that crowd of men, women and children and baby carriages. The whole city might have been in mourning now. Possibly jeo-ple jeo-ple in other cities crowd to sec a circus procession proces-sion with a- much enthusiasm as do Salt Lake people, peo-ple, but we doubt it. Saturday morning an old lady in a street car stood up in the aisle and looked out of the windows on both sides, and when tho car passed the ramcls in harness it waa a clear case that the old girl was under a mighty restraint to keep from about in g "Whoopla!" The prominent feature of the parade was that all the tierce Arabs who rode the elephants were evidently born in Tipperary. |
