OCR Text	Show WITNESS Ef Its. ETDB TEIAIa KANSAS OTT. 'Aug. . Locy Las Swope, who eloped from Colorado Spring yesterday with W. B. Byrne, waa one of the principal wttneeees In tha trial ef Dr. .B. C. Hyde here laat year for the murder of Colonel Swope. She waa ta Europe shortly before en epidemic of typhoid broke out la the Swope family. On her return Dr. Hyde accompanied ber home from New Torn. She waa stricken with typhoid anon after her arrival. The prosecution attempted to show that typhoid germs had been administered ad-ministered to her in a cup of water which Dr. Hyde gave her on the train. Mrs. Bryne la expected to testify at tha second trial of Dr. Hyoa Bare next October.
