Canadian Can-adian Pacific made the best gain, advancing advanc-ing 2 points: Erie second preferred gained 1: Cnlon Pactrle, Reading and American Beet Sugar. 1: Lehigh Valley and Atchison, Atchi-son, t: and Southern Pacific and New York Central. 1. Smaller giilne were ae-cured ae-cured by the other active Issues. Prlcee receded after the opening, but the market became firm and a large part of the advancea were maintained. Amer-lean Amer-lean Tobacco Issues were affected by news of the reorganisation plana, the preferred pre-ferred atock advancing U and the 4 per cent bonde a similar amount. Pittsburg Coal preferred gained a point and Wisconsin Wis-consin Central loet 11.
