Meane for the prevention of fraud or eorruptio in the election representatives to eon-gTeaa eon-gTeaa are proposed in two bill Introduced Intro-duced by Bepreaentative ' Power of Kentucky, once a conspicuous figure in his state" gubernatorial electioa troubles. In one bill Mr. Power proposes a fine Tf from $1000 to tilOOO, or from one to three years' imprisonment for intimidation intimi-dation of voters at any primary or general gen-eral election, for the use of money or for threats ia securing votes. A second bill provides that there be created a commission of the bouse of representatives, representa-tives, consulting of three civilian, to investigate all election. |
