The ehei'ker'a room was thorou-tly searched at that time and the entire outfit of duplicate cheeks discovered, by the meaae of which it ia claimed that the cafe waa defrauded of a large sum of money. The actions of the euapected waiters had beea carefully watched for a week previous to the arrest. |
