Show UTAH SYMPHONY TO CIM SEASON The music of heaven is the music of a harp. And the organization organi-zation that gives Utah its finest music, the Utah State Symphony orchestra, will feature the harp for the first time at the final concert con-cert of the 1949-50 season Saturday Satur-day night, March 25, at the Salt Lake Tabernacle. Making the music will be the angelic Rebecca Wagner, blonde beauty, who plays first harp with the orchestra. She has performed with the Indianapolis symphony and other outstanding musical groups and Ls one of America's outstanding harpists. She will pby Dances for Harp and Strings by Debussy with the orchestra, according to Conductor Maurice Abravanel. The program also will include LeRoy Robertson's brilliant Violin Vio-lin Concerto with Tibor Zelig as soloist. A well balanced and attractive program will close Utah's finest symphony season. |
