Show MONTHLY MUSTER OF OFFICERS AND MEN AT THE FORT Every officer and soldier at Fort Douglas passed nnder the esgle eye of Col. Lockwood this morning, and wondered won-dered if he eame np to the regulations. It was the monthly muster, and an affair af-fair of some moment to the military. Recruits are arriving at the fort daily from various posts. Fifty are expected soon from Jefferson barracks, Mo., and about fifty men of service from Columbus. O., and Fort Snelling, Minn., have already arrived. The regiment regi-ment now has almost its entire complement comple-ment and is on a war footing. On the way here from Denver yesterday, yes-terday, Clarence Cook of the hospital corps was taken ill with the measles, and upon his arrival was removed to the post hospital. I |
