Show CHICAGO PRODUCE. CHICAGO, April 3. The wheat market opened active today and the tone was firm. Cables were higher and numerous reports were received of damage by the green bug In Missouri. Later prices eased off somewhat on realising. May opened 11 to lc higher at 76J77c. Corn opened steady In sympathy with a strong market at. Liverpool, but later weakened on selling. - May corn opened firm and unchanged to 1c higher at 451(9 45c, and sold at 45145c. Trade was very light in oats. Prices opened firm in sympathy with wheat, but later eased off on realising sales. Good weather In the Northwest for seeding was a weakening Influence. May opened Iflic higher at 421043c. and declined to 421c. Provisions were dull and steady because of a strong market for live hogs. May pork opened unchanged at $16.40 and sold at $16.25. Lard was 71c lower at $8.95, and ribs were off 71 at $8,721.
