Show BILLS PASSED BY SENATE YESTERDAY The Senate yesterday passed the following fol-lowing bills: 5. B. 136, Miller, providing an appropriation appro-priation of $7000, to be erpended in building bridges over the Rio Virgin river in Washington county. H. B. 118, Marks, relating to replies in pleadings. H. B. 140, Hott, protecting the relics of ancient races and providing a pen-altv pen-altv therefor. 6. B. 162, Judiciary committee, relating relat-ing to citv Justices of the Peace. 8. B. 160, Judicjary committee, prohibiting pro-hibiting corporations making contract of champerty, and maintenance, or engaging en-gaging in the business of soliciting and maintaining litigation in the courts of the State. S. B. 161, Judiciary committee, to annul an-nul and dismiss actions commenced in Justices' courts before January 5, 1903, which have not been prosecuted to judgment. S. B. 147. Gardner, relating to water rights and irrigation and the duties of the State Engineer. |
