Show WOULDN'T STRIKE, BEATEN TO DEATH A dWcago WorKing Car Cleaner Hit With a BricK and Then Beaten by Three Men. CHICAGO, April IS. Because he refused re-fused to go on strike, Edward F. Fago. a car cleaner employed by the Chicago k Northwestern railroad, was hit on the head with a brick last plght and then jumped on and kicked by three men. He died a short time later. The police arrested Paul Majka and are searching for Henry Wotka and Joseph Jo-seph Maika, who they assert aided in the attack on Fago. The strike which led to the murder oc- -eurrqd, three weeks ago. The men became be-came dissatisfied with the wagea paid them and quit. Fago, who had been em. ployed by the company for five years, refused re-fused to Join them. Other men were hired to fill the- places made ' vacant by the strikers, and the latter were refused employment. em-ployment. Last night the three men.
