L'tah Copper Is now treating the largest tonnage In Its history at the two plants at Garfield, the Magna and Arthur mills Its June report will show that an average of better than 2S.000 tons of ore dally Was treated In theae mill, but the grade of the product lias been lower than It was during the two months of last year, when a larger yield of copper was shown. In a short time the grade of ore will be built up again, and It la planned to eventually treat as much aa 25,000 tons dally. The production from this wonderful property for the half year has been very satisfactory and approxlmatea 54.700.t"' pounds. This la a record amount, although al-though It shows an Increase of but 392.00 founds over the corresponding period or est year. While the grade of ore has been lower than at any time In the history his-tory of operations by this company, a large percentage of this rock la capping, which at one time wai thought to be imposelhle to treat at a profit.
