RAPKIN PLEADS GUILTY AS "SLAVER" When the United Mate district court opened this morning:, Joseph EM ward Rap. kin. chanted with rielatln; the white Slavs laws, appeared before Judge John A. Marshall and changed his plea from "not guilty" to "guilty." Th ease was heard last week and on account of the jury being unable to agree a mistrial wes entered. The whit slare case of C. C. Oeorge and Clarence Franklin came up thl morning morn-ing and a jury was quickly selected. Franklin appeared before the court and changed his plea from Mnd guilty" to "guilty." and the testimony against George Is now being taken. It Is expected that the case will not go to the jury before be-fore some time tomocow. |
