Show Mr. Henry Lane Wilson, our embassador in Mexico, seems to be very much of a man. He is taking charge of all the foreigners there, aud we suspect that if in the whole crowd there is somoone who can wield a graphic pen the story of the laat week in Mexico City will be most thrilling. But the atrain on women and chil dren, and on men, must be very great. Not so much on the men as on the women and ehildrea, because men after several days of .steady fighting fight-ing grow indifferent, and soldiers in besieged fortresses, where the danger is imminent every moment, after a day or two of bombarding will lie down snd sleep without any trouble. |
