Six men were killed and several others seriously injured in an explosion this forenoon fore-noon at the end of the Fort Brady Pier. Most of the victims were , laborer. la-borer. It ta believed dynamite stored tinder the dock exploded. Soldiers stationed at Fort Brad? were ordered to patrol the area sweater sweat-er the explosion, and a military investigation in-vestigation was started. A fire in the quartermaster's build-tnit build-tnit at Fort Brady last Saturday caused considerable damage. No announcement an-nouncement ha been made regarding regard-ing the cause. One of the men killed was George Cook, a member of the United Stales coast guard cutter Mackinac.
