Show Dutch and Germans Agree on Ships By Associated Press. LONDON, June 27. According to a Hague official communication, forwarded for-warded by the Amsterdam correspondent correspon-dent of Router's Limited, an agreement has been reached between the Dutch and Oerman governments concerning the seven Dutch merchantmen that were torpedoed off the English coast last February. Germany undertakes to replace the lost vessels by the cession ces-sion of a number of German ships now In the Dutch East Indies of equivalent value, but Holland Is to pay Germany a sum equivalent to the total compensation compen-sation value of the lost ships. Germany Ger-many will compensate the crews of the lost ships for moral and material damages. The ceded vessels may only be used for transocean traffic during the war and not until the belligerent powers recognise the transfer of the flag and the right of these vessels to undertake voyages- |
