Here's a 12-minute recipe. raisins, teaspoon soda, 1 teaspoon tea-spoon cream of tartar, 1-3 teaspoon vanilla, H teaspoon almond extract ex-tract Cream butter, add sugar gradually grad-ually and beat until light Add sifted dry Ingredients alternately with milk. Fold In vanilla and raisins. Pour in well greased loaf cake pan. Bake about 45 minutes In a moderate oven, 350 degrees F. Test with a straw. Frost after cooling slightly, with any favorite frosting. Quick Cinnamon Buns ' Eight teaspoons baking powder, 1H teaspoons salt 4 cups flour, 8 tablespoons shortening, 1 cups milk, 4 tablespoons melted butter, 14 cup raisins, H cup nuts, li teaspoons tea-spoons cinnamon, 14 cup brown sugar. Sift baking powder, salt and flour together. Cut In shortening. Stir In milk. Knead and roll out to quarter-Inch thickness on floured board. Brush with melted butter. Combine raisins, nuts, cinnamon and brown sugar and dust over flat dough. Then roll up like a Jelly roll. Cut Into 154-inch 154-inch widths.
