Show H. F. Robinson Rites Sunday Funeral for Executive of Tribune Set Funeral services for Homer Frederick Robinson, whose death Thursdav morning ended 57 years' service with The Salt Lake Tribune, Trib-une, will be conducted at 2 p. m. Sunday at 574 East First South street by the Rev. Theodore . Lllley.- pastor qf the First Presbyterian Pres-byterian church. Mr. Robinson, 75, since 1924 general gen-eral manager of The Tribune, also was vice president of The Salt ljike Tribune Publishing rompany. He died of coronary occlusion at th family residence, 245 East South Temple street. Gus P. Backman, executive secretary sec-retary of the Salt Lake chamber of commerce, and H. Eugene Glenn, composing room superintendent superin-tendent of Th Salt Lak Tribune and Telegram, will be speakers. Active pallbearers will be E. E. Finch, Jay Charon, J. Scott Arnold, Ar-nold, A. A. Campbell, Nephl C. Christensen and E. F. Baldwin. Honorary pallbearers will include in-clude Thomas F. Kearns, J. F. Fitzpatrick. A. L. FlJh. Thomas J. Mullin, G. B. Olivet cemetery. Th Salt Lak chamber of com-nerc com-nerc Friday adopted a resolution expressing condolence and sympathy sym-pathy to the Robinson family on the death of Mr. Robinson, who was on of the intermountain west's most ardent boosters. |
