Show FARMERS TO DEMAND HIGHER BEAN PRICES WEST JORDAN Salt Lake county farmers will ask more for their beans next season, Donald Ho-gan, Ho-gan, president of the Salt Lake County Canning Crops Growers' association, as-sociation, said Tuesday. No. 1 grade, will range around J73 a ton, 10 a ton more than was asked for the 1937 crop. Bus it beans. No. 1, will bring $80 a ton; No. 2, $3 a ton, and pale No. 2. US a ton. Lima beans wiU cost even more, at 100 a -ton fo.- greens and $50 a ton for whites, Mr. Hogan said. |
