Show PAVING PROJECT TO BE EXTENDED PROVO An addition of 11 or IS blocks to the road paving district dis-trict covering (1 blocks in the southeast south-east and southwest sections of Provo City will be included in an amendment to the district. Mayor Mark Anderson said Monday. Workmen have already finished preliminary work on the road base An nmmriy 3A hlpfka. lha mayor aaid. and will continue work during the winter montha on tha remainder. Approximately 60 ment have been employed on the project. Bids for laying the rook asphalt on tha road will be ' let in May, Mayor Anderson explained. "We would like to finish paving all roads within tha city next summer," the mayor aaid, "but with the present pres-ent funds available, we will not be able to complete the city's paving pav-ing this next year." Approval . of tha city's sewer project for laying miscellaneous lines in the city is expected within the next few days from W P A headquarters. Elmer A. Jacob, city engineer, reported. This project will cost about (50.000, ha aaid. Completion of the east aide drain project at Third North, atreet is expected within the next two months.
