Weill Morrison Children and Parents Attend Annual Flower, Fruit Exhibits Proud children and happy parents of the Oakwood school. Sixtieth Six-tieth South street and Highland drive, exhibited outstanding blossoms blos-soms and fruits Friday during the annual school garden show. Greeted by Mrs. H. C. Johnson,' president of ths school Parent-Teacher Parent-Teacher association, visitors filed past the exhibits thst filled each room and halls of th two-story building, from opening of the show at 2:30 p. m. until 5:30 p. m. Center of Interest on the first floor was a miniature house decorated deco-rated and gardened by first and second grade students, under ths direction di-rection of Maria B. Harrison, a teacher. On th second floor was a garden of varicolored flowers of fall varieties, together with scores of Individual entries. Approximately 100 atudents and their parents participated in the ahow, F. E. Walker, principal of th achool, said. Mrs. Johnson was aasiated with the affair by Mrs. J. H. Reymond, Verna Roberts, Mrs. A. Wells Morrison and Maria B. Harrison. Tea waa served visitors during th afternoon by members of the Parent-Teacher association. |
