Tuesday. Highlight of tha evening will be the selection of a carnival queen and several attendants. attend-ants. Selection of the queen will bo at 11 p. a, followed by a grand march of guests at the party. The Rev. Joseph S. Keefe, super intendent of the school, said regular school sessions will be held Tuesday. Tues-day. Organizations assisting in staging the annual event, besides tha P.-T. A. and the Catholic Woman's Wo-man's league, are the altar aocietiea of the Cathedral of the Madeleine and of Our Lady of Lourdea and the Knights of Columbus. More than 1000 Catholics of this and adjoining cities will honor the Most Rev. James E. Kearney, D. D., bishop of the Salt Lake diocese, at 6:30 p. m. Monday at a dinner in the Judge Memorial school cafe, ushering usher-ing In a two-day carnival to raise money for the school fund. The dinner will be sponsored by the school Parent-Teacher association, associa-tion, of which Mrs. T. J. Holland is chairman. Speakers will be Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Colonel Charles E. McCarthy of the Thirty-eighth Infantry, Fort Douglas; Mra, John C Daly and John Leary. At 2 p. m. Tuesday the Catholic Woman's league will sponsor a card |
