Phillips, former director of Baptist svangellam for north era California aad Nevada, Friday had arrived la Salt Lake City to open a staff office for inter-mountain inter-mountain work. Rev. Phillips will have charge of Baptist work la Utah, Idaho aad Montana and will maintain his horns here, to be Joined soon by his wife and daughter. Offices will be In the Newhouse building. Ths newcomer is a graduate of Teachers' college and Drury college In Springfield, Mo, and the University Uni-versity of Chicago. He was ordained or-dained at Chicago In 1821 and has served as a foreign mlasionary.
