The moat Important development since tha Midwest Refining company brought In Its record well In tha I aecond Wall Creek aand at Salt Creek j Is the bringing In of a large well by the Ohio Oil ' company in the Buck I Creek field In Niobrara county, twenty ' miles west uf the Nelnaska stale line. Thla .ell waa brought In at a depth . of 30 feet In the northwest corner of aectlon t-36-$, and la reportea to be good for over 1000 barrels dally, ! tha oil being of a very high grade, I running 40 to 42 degreee gravity. I Among the companies holding a ! substantial acreage in this field ara 1 the Ohio OH company. Midwest Refining Re-fining company, Cilenrock Oil company com-pany and the United OH company, which la a subsidiary of the Continental Con-tinental Oil company of Colorado. The Ohio Oil company hi drilling an additional well and haa eight rgs up. The I'nJted Oil company Is reported to have a test below 3400 feet. Just southwest of the Ohio's completion, and to have nine rigs up. The Addison Oil company found a great gaaser In its well on Poison (Spider on section J-S3 -II when they reached the pay about 130 feet a few days -ago. The well will make about 220.000.000 feet dally, .and with the other walls belonging to the New York Oil company com-pany oh the aame dome will form a gaa rupply for Casper that w"' furnish fur-nish thia city with sufficient fuel for all purposes for many years to coma.
