Show MRS. LENORA HAMMOND DEAD OF HEART FAILURE ' ' Mrs. lnora Blair Hamrrtond, wife of""j. T. Hammond, member of the state board of equaVsatlon, former secretary sec-retary of state and lawyer, died unexpectedly un-expectedly thia morning- of heart failure fail-ure at her home, 228 Fourth avenue. Mrs. Hammond's youngest son. Roa-coo Roa-coo B. Hammond, Is now In the ffl- cers' training camp aLYaJa university. He Is expected home on a leave of absence. Funeral arrangements will be announced upon receipt of word from him. Mrs. Hammond was born In LeOgsn December 12. 180.- th daughter ot . Major Heth hi. and Harah Foster Blair, pioneer residents of Cache valley. She had resided In SaJt Lake for more than twenty year. Of 'an unusually gentle and lovabm disposition Mrs. Hammond demonstrated rare qualities of patlance end fortitude during a period pe-riod of frail health that extended over several years. Resides her son. Ttoscoa B. Hammond, Ham-mond, who waa superintendent ol school of Millard county before entering en-tering military service, ahe is survived sur-vived by two other eons, J. T. Hammond Ham-mond Jr.. associate counsel of the Oregon Ore-gon Khort Line and affiliated rl-roada, rl-roada, and Wendall B. Hammond, attorney, at-torney, who tint il recently practiced In Magna.
