Show FAILURE LOOM llflM RED CROSS Two Day Remain in Which Salt Lake May Re-gain Re-gain Honor. Failure in the Red Cross Christmas roll drive looms In sight unless enrollments en-rollments come in considerably faster in the next two days than they have been doing. Only 17,000 members have thus far been obtained In Halt Luke, which la far below the hoped for figure. fig-ure. The American Red Cross asked that Halt Lake's enrollment In the Red Cross be doubled over that of last year, when S5.000 memberships were obtained. Instead In-stead of being 100 per cent over last season's enrollments. It is seen that Halt Lake is 60 per cent In the rear, and It la beginning to look as If Halt Lake's past record for patriotic giving giv-ing would not be maintained. Canvaasing in Halt Iake county Is proceeding very rapidly and satisfactorily, satisfac-torily, according to reports, but so far no definite amounts have been turned In. In Rtngham the drive is being conducted by a women's committee, and In Magna 'officials of the Utah Copper company, together with patriotic pa-triotic cltixens, are heading the cam- j paign. The Y.
