Show TEEN CLUB CLOSES FOR REPAIRS AND GENERAL CLEANING The Teen Age club at the Civic Center was closed this week for an indefinite period, according to Hob Jimas ami Kail T. James, adult advisors, win' report that 'Teen Agers were not taking proper care of equipment and hail failed to keep the club in good order Mr. Jimas attend ed city council meeting Wednesday Wednes-day to report closure of the club and that unruly club members had destroyed property The officials of-ficials decided that the club should remain closed until more satisfactory arrangements for eaii' and upkeep of the club are worked out by members, Hud Jones, 'Teen club pretl dent, stated Wednesday that a meeting of all 'Teen club members mem-bers is being arranged for 8 p.m. Friday, July 27. at No. 1 Fire hall. The membership will be asked to draw up a schedule which will allot sufficient time to janitorial duties. The club will be thoroughly cleaned be fore reopening and house rules drawn up and posted at the club. Unless members agree to abide by rules and cooperate with officers of-ficers in keeping the quarter! in good condition the club will not reopen, Mr. Jones stated. |
