Show Truman Terms Baruch 'Misinformed' WASHINGTON, June' 80 VFl President Truman declared Thura. day that Bernard M. Baruch waa badly misinformed when he accused ac-cused the administration of taking tak-ing a "needless gamble" with national na-tional security. This was ths only comment the president would msks at a news conference about criticism of his administration by Baruch and former Secy, of State James F. Byrnes. A reporter asked whether Mr. Truman agreed with Baruch that an over -all mobilization plan should be submitted to congress now. Mr. Truman said he had no comment. This same reply waa given when, ha was asked about Baruch s complaint about "neglect and v" clllaUon." The president replied no when asked If hs hsd rejected any mo biliaation plan.- A reporter asked If there wss any connection between ths eriu- , dam from Baruch and Byrnes, long close sssociatas and fellow South Carolinians.
