Show 3 Utah Guard Units Enter Service Tomorrow Three units of Utah's national guard go Into United States army service Saturday. j Units which will be recalled into federal service include: Headquarters and headquarters company, 115th combat engineer en-gineer group, Salt Lake City, commanded by Col. Rulon J. Ballard. Two Hundred Fourth field artillery artil-lery battalion, Logan, commanded by Lt. Col. Joe E. Whitesides. Two Hundred Thirteenth armored ar-mored field artillery battalion. Cedar City, commanded oy Lt. Col. Frank Dally. Brig. Gen. J. Wallace West, sd-jutsnt sd-jutsnt general, said tne units will remain at their home stations until i orders arrive for them to entrain ! for west coast camps. The Salt Lake City unit will receive re-ceive physical examinations on Saturday, beginning at 8 a in., according ac-cording to Maj. Joseph E. Chavez, public information officer, Utah military district. The other two units will receive examinations in their home localea, Gen. West said. On Friday afternoon 50 unaa- signed reserve army officers were examined, the first such officers to be examined under orders of the Sixth army headquarters, San Francisco. The officers were combat lieutenants lieu-tenants and captains aa well as medical service officers, sccording to Maj. Chavez. I Names of those who pass will , be forwarded to the army head-1 quarters. At that point the army will select men to fill quotas, according ac-cording to rank and military occupation oc-cupation specialties, regsrdless of the state in which the officer resides. j Meanwhile induction officials st the fort continued to examine draftees from the stale, according to Lt.
