Show I Here's 'Streamlined' Recipe : : r Mrs, E. D. Hurd Macaroni Loaf Accompanies Creamed Meat, Fish Mrs. E. D. Hurd, 1820 Yale avenue, delights her guests with a succulent Macaroni Loaf, with which she serves creamed chicken, turkey, crab or shrimp, or any creamed meat or fish. Macaroni Loaf 1 cup grated chcene 2 tablespoons minced onion 1 cup bread crumbs 1 tablespoon minced parsley 1 cup hot milk 2 tablespoons chopped IVi cups broken cooked pimiento macaroni 2 tablespoons melted butter 8 eggs Salt Separate eggs and add the yolks, well beaten, to the above Ingredients. Finally add egg whites, beaten stiff. Put mixture in greased loaf tin, then place in shallow pan of hot water and bake in moderate oven until firm (about 45 minutes). Next: Mrs. Jacob A.v Johnston. |
