Show Fire Protection on j Watersheds Praised, All agencie which assisted In keep-j ing tire on city watershed at a minimum during 1933 were warmly commended Monday by City Commissioner Com-missioner George D. Keyr. A report re-port from area patrolmen (how only 22 tire occurred during the yer. destroying less than two acre of timber and 70 acres of brush. Approximately Ap-proximately 600 acre were burned over during 1930 and 1931. Mr. Keyser commended airplane pllota, employes of the Utah Power and Light company, the Denver Rio Grande Weatern railroad, the forestry service, city and county employe em-ploye and army member at Fort Douglas for their cooperation, and asked that they cqptinue to help in lire prevention. |
