Show BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL NEWS Bonnie June Olsen "The Forest Prince" an operetta oper-etta in three acts was presented last Thursday at the high school auditorium. Character parts were taken bv Kaye Abplanalp, Jack Knudser), Bonnie Jean Johnson, Ralph Siddoway, Erma June Gammell, Billy Boren, Karl Hof-mann, Hof-mann, Jean Jensen, Paul Ken-ner, Ken-ner, Rudy Pino- Dino Moretti and Catherine Goris. Members of the orchestra were John Chipian, Donna Rae Olsen, Dona Lee Cook, Don Gust, Jean Nielson, Gwen Sandstrom, Boyd Householder House-holder and Catherine King. Their were also many assisting roles of soldiers, dancers and court ladies. Between acts Jerry Shilling gave a piano solo "Chopin's Polonaise", Pol-onaise", and Margy label! gave a vocal solo. Concluding the program, pro-gram, a short speech of thanks and a gift were presented to the directors of the affair. They were Vern Baer, speech; Joel P. Jensen, Jen-sen, music; Virginia Harris, dancing; danc-ing; Paul Kuhni, scenery and J. W. Bingham .lighting. A student body dance was enjoyed en-joyed by senior and junior high school students last Friday afternoon. after-noon. The purpose of the dance was to crown the yearbook queen (Miss Coppertonian) and her attendants. at-tendants. The queen is Marilyn Wells and her attendants are Isabell Rose and Darlene Morley. Each girl was crowned and presented pre-sented with a gift. The Miners club recently received re-ceived their sweaters. They are white with the Miners symbol and the word Prospectors written writ-ten across the blue symbol. |
