Show Mail Service to Uintah Basin' on Old Schedule VERNAL. June . Under the new schedule of mall train servics of the Denver Rio Grande Western West-ern railway, stfective June 11, the Uintah basin Is adversely affected, aa mall which heretofore arrived In Vernal at S p. m. on the same day It left Rait Lake now arrives at 1 p. m. the following dsy. This schedule places the service to the Uintah basin where it was tea years ago. Under the old schedule, mall from Salt Lake and all points wsst and east was delivered to the government govern-ment operated trucka of the Castle Gate-Vernal star rout at 1 p. m. and arrived at Vernal, the eastern terminus of the route, about ft p. m.. enabling business housss to attend to urgent correspondence and mail It for departure from here at 1 a. m. the following morning. Means of securing direct mall service from Halt Lake to Vernal, serving postoffices of Ihichssn. Myton, Roosevelt, Fort Ducbeene and Vernal, by the government operated op-erated trucks, a distance of approximately ap-proximately 111 mllee via the U.
