Smith, colored, stood up before Judge Mors$ this morning and entered pleas of not guilty to the three counts of the Information charging her with the murder of Daniel Ryan In Victoria alley on December 12th. Attorneys E. A. Wedgewood and C E. Marks were appointed counsel for the defendant by the court. Mr. Wedgewood asked that they be permitted permit-ted to plead with the privilege of changing the plea later, as they had not yet examined the Information against the accused, to which the court consented.'
