Show RESOLUTION IN FAVOR OF COLORADO STRIKERS, Strong resolutions of sympathy with th striking miners In Colorado and In Carbon county, Utah, were unanimously adopted by the, State convention of the Western Federation of Miners this morning. Following Is the full text of the resolution: "On reviewing the situation In Colorado, Colo-rado, the struggle In which thousands of our brothers are Implicated to fight the Cltlxens Alliance and Mine-Owners' association, and, . "Whereas, Said Alliance and Mine-Owners' Mine-Owners' association haa all the support of the government of the State; and, "Whereas, The abolition of law to deprive our brothers of the rights of cltlxens of America haa been adopted by said corporation; and, "Whereas, Many of our brothers have been deprived of th pleasure of giving their, support to, or seeing their loved ones, but hav been unjustly driven from their homes; and, "Whereas. Their children and wives have been refused the privilege of walking walk-ing on the public roads by the authority author-ity and cowardly action of Gov. Pea-body Pea-body and the militia, be It "Resolved, That we will stand by our brothers and give them all the possible moral and financial aid, to help the brothers in Colorado win the battle that they are fighting for justice and humanity, hu-manity, and help them to have their revenge at the ballot-box." Th reaalutinn in recard to the Car- bon county, Utah, trouble reads: "After hearing the reports from some of our brothers from the coal fields In Carbon county and the full statement from "Mother Jones, and, "Whereas, The Utah Fuel company, with the aid of the Governor of the State and the State militia, have on many occasions violated the law; and, "Whereas, Many of our brothers have had to suffer imprisonment and in many cases hav seen their families mistreated and driven from their homes: and, "Whereas, the actions of some of the county officials have been sanctioned by the State authorities to arrest and place In bullpen many of our brothers under false pretenses; and, "Whereas, Even sympathizers with our cause were ordered out of the county; coun-ty; therefore b It "Resolved. That we. the delegates of tbe Utah State union. Western Federation Federa-tion of Miner, give to them all our aid, morally and financially, to help them out of their struggle and win th battle for liberty." Copies of these resolutions are to be forwarded to the strikers in Colorado and to th strikers in Carbon county. Th convention practically completed Its business this morning by th election elec-tion of officers for the ensuing half-year. half-year. The result of th election makes A. W. Charter president; Frank Erlck-son Erlck-son vice-president; J. P. Langford secretary-treasurer. The executive board consists of Daniel Baxter, Thomas Fa-cey, Fa-cey, T. W. Splan D. J. Russell and Robert Work. Salt Lake City was chosen as the place for th next convention, on the first Tuesday In October. This afternoon the convention meets to settle the expenses Incurred during its stay, and will then" adjourn. The following committee to take charge of the Miners' Union day celebration cele-bration on June IS was appointed yesterday: yes-terday: E. F. Boyle, Frank Erlckion, D. J.
