BUILD HEW SHELTER As soon as the Ban Pedro road reaches California Crossing; the material for the smelter for the Grand Gulch In the Utah-Arizona atrip will be ordered.. Over $100,000 worth of ore haa come from the Grand Gulch mines and 25,000 torn now awaits the building of the smelter. None of this will be shipped, but wUl be held for the building of the smelter. When the distance to the camp hasi been reduced to sixty miles, as it will be. the Savannlo property, controlled by Col. Pickett and the M. M. Miller estate, will be started up. MAMMOTH PROBABLY WILL START ITS MILL The management of the Mammoth of Tintic is earnestly considering- the advisability ad-visability of starting up the Mammoth mill. Manager Mclntyre left for the mine this morning to consult with his ouper-IntendenU ouper-IntendenU and with his return the startup start-up will doubtless be announced. Mr. Mclntyre has not so far been able to get a satisfactory contract with the valley smelters for hla low grade ore. There have also been rumors of the desire de-sire on the part of the San Pedro road to take the tram crew off the "high line" to the mine, on, account of the present low tonnage now shipped. This would mean an increased freight expense, ex-pense, as wagons would have to be used. . The mill has been carefully looked after, af-ter, and the work of putting it Into commission would take little time under un-der favorable conditions. DALY-JTJDQE WILL NOT , PUT BONDS ON MARKET. Secretary Lambourne of the Daly-Judge Daly-Judge said today that the entire number num-ber of the $300,00$ worth of bonds, although al-though guaranteed, would be handled by some of the largest shareholders in the company, and none of them would be placed on the general market Mr. Lambourne explained, however, that If any of the stockholders of the company desire to obtain some of these bonds as an Investment it will be arranged for them to do so. OLD GEMINI IIANDS . OUT $10 PER SHARE The Gemini of Tlntlc has made Its shareholders happy by passing around to them $50,000 or $10 a share. This amount still leaves a sufficient surplus In the treasury to complete the new boiler equipment. Deep Creek, writes from camp that gold has been discovered on that property. The ore is a quarts lying between porphyry por-phyry and the ledge is about twenty feet wide. The : discovery was made WHITE PINE PLANS TO INSTALL BIG PLANT. J.' B. Flemming. who has been experimenting exper-imenting with the copper ores of the White Pine company of Ely. Nev, Is now drawing the plans and specifications specifica-tions for the experimental plant to be put up at the property. It will be of about 100 tons daily capacity and If successful suc-cessful will be replaced by one of 1000 tons. AMERICAN FLAG SHOWS INTERESTING CONDITIONS. Although the American Flag company Is a close corporation and has not given a public statement of the mine's condition, condi-tion, a shareholder released enough news to show that the mine Is in splendid shape. On the 1000-foot level they are in exceptionally ex-ceptionally fine ore and are drifting on it in both directions from the shaft. The ore contains bromide and chloride of silver, and some of it has run very high. On this level the ore alio carries some copper values.
