When the Mayor's veto or the resolution authorizing Senor Robles's bull tight, in which he quoted the law against fighting or baiting animals, was read. Councilman F.lacK wanted the City Attorney to explain where prize fights would come in if the law wero enforced. Mr. liramel explained ex-plained that prize tights were prohibited by law and could only be authorised under un-der the eup'aonious name of "boxing contests." |
