Show ALLEGED TO HAVE COMMITTED ROBBERY Percy A. Brush and Daniel Levy, transients, were arrested late Monday night by Detective Dick Shannon, on suspicion of having held up and robbed B. T. Trauseau of 330, a check and several sev-eral letters on Sunday night. Trauseau reported to Detective Shannon that he had been robbed in front of the Arch saloon on Commercial street, by two men, whom he described. While Detective Shannon was making his rounds late Monday night he saw two men in a Commercial rtreet restaurant, restau-rant, whom he thought looked like suspicious sus-picious characters. He spoke to one of them, saying that he wanted to see him after he had finished his meal. The other man asked if he were also .wanted, and the detective Informed him that he was. The second man, It is alleged, then attempted to drop a pocketbook out of sight behind the counter, but was caught in the act by the detective, who picked up the pocketbook and found that it contained papers belonging to Trauseau. |
