Show TURKISH STORY OF A CHRISTIAN WAR SALONICA, European Turkey, Nov. 23. Snow hinders the operations of the troops sent against the Greek bands entrenched southwest of Vodena whose outrages are terrorizing the vicinity. The whole western part of the vilayet of Salonica Is swarming with bands of murderous Christians, both Greek and Bulgarians, each of whom Is systematically systemat-ically trying to weed out the most prominent adherents of the other. Murders Mur-ders are terribly frequent in Salonica Itself and are perpetrated with impunity. |
