Show FOOTBALL FOR TODAY Hottest Game Scheduled Will Be Between Park J) City and E. S. H. S. There will be a great number of football foot-ball games played in this city Saturday. Satur-day. The University of Utah will play Fort Douglas at Cummings field at 3 o'clock. ' The "soldiers have not played any games this season, but from all indications in-dications will be clearly outclassed and the game will probably be onesided and uninteresting. . It will, however, show the improvement improve-ment made in the U. of U. team. Fleishman Fleish-man will take Hope's place at tackle and Carlson, the ex-guard, will be tried at half. He is big and strong, but rather slow, and it is likely that he will not work particularly well with the other backs, although he hits the line hard. Settle will replace Fleishman Fleish-man at guard. The most closely fought game of the day will probably be between the Park City. High School and the East Side High School at Walkers' field. Both teams are light-and fast and are supposed sup-posed to be very evenly matched. The Park City boys came down last night and are In splendid shape physically. The line-up will be as follows: Park City. E. S. H. S Williams 1 e Pickering Stevens I t Treaeder Doyle l g Hlnes Harrington c Wire Gates r.g..... Home McQuire r.t Kidder Mitchell r e Bassette Doraty Qb Loofbourow R. Watson l.hb Kearns E. Watson r.hb.. James Black fb Moore The Aggies of Loean play Stanford at Palo Alto Saturday and will undoubtedly un-doubtedly be beaten, but it is hoped that they will put up a better game than the others on their present trip. The only hard or uncertain game which will be played in the East Saturday Satur-day will be between West Point and ' Princeton at West Point. West Point j,trlefeated Yale and lost to Harvard Mil to 0. Harvard won by the Grace ofGod, but was clearly outplayed. |
