Show Ord, Calif., after spending 10 days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs-Joe Mrs-Joe Kopesec. He is expecting a discharge in time to return home for the holidays. Martin Mika, husband of the former Mildred Conish, recently received his discharge from Santa Ana, Calif. He is one of the fur toughed soldiers, who were recalled re-called to service. He has accepted accept-ed a position with the U. S. Mine at Copperfield. Marie Azzelio, U- of U. coed, returned to school Monday after spending a week at home. Saturday Satur-day and Sunday she was a guest of Johnette Hatch, Ada Fontana and Hazel Scott of Salt Lake City, who arc also students at the university. Jackie Davidson of Midvale was a week-end guest of Mary Casich. Peter Kosovich and family weere dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Padgen. Manuel Ortego of Salt Lake City spent the week-end visiting his mother, Mrs. Josephine Ortego. Or-tego. Manuel is a former resident resi-dent here but for the past six months has been operating his own business in Salt Lake. Mrs. Geno Dellagnola and son and Mrs. Nick Bolic returned Saturday after visiting three weeks in San Francisco and vicinity. While in California they spent considerable time with former Binghamites Misses Mary and Lily Bolic and Amanda Chanak. Louis Valdcz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Ortego, arrived home Friday from Camp Cooke, Calif., where he received his discharge from the army. He has seen action ac-tion in ETO and as yet is undecided un-decided as to future plans. O HIGHLAND BOY.' Mary Casich Pfc Attelio Azzelio, son of Mrs. Tony Azzelio, arrived Monday from Fort Worden, Wash., to spend a 15-day furlough visiting here. He has been in the armed forces for the past three years and is expecting a discharge in the immediate future. He is a graduate of Bingharn high school and later received his bachelor of arts degree from Woodbury college at Los Angeles. Pvt. Raymond M. Kopesec left Monday to report back to Fort |
