A number, of ' the prospective Jurors offered many excuses and four were excused ex-cused on statutory grounds. Nearly all that remained at this time showed a marked Indisposition to serve on the Jury. M. L. Oglesby. Richard Collet, William Wil-liam C. Howe, William M. Ferguson. John Danvers, George W. Timpson, Charles B. Staats, Charles J. Foulger, and Rudolph Alff were sworn and accepted ac-cepted on their voir dire.
