DURING TDE WEEK There were 27 deaths reported to the Board of Health- during the week ending end-ing February 21sti 21 of the number being be-ing residents of the city. 12 'of the decedents dece-dents were males and 16 females.. Six bodies were brought here for interment ' and three were shipped to other points for burial. One case of smallpox was Imported Im-ported during the week and-: 22 cases developed in the city; 19 of the 23 were among adults over 18 years of age. and but one of this number showed results of; vaccination,, and this case shows a doubtful scar. Thus far in February there have been 67 cases of smallpox reported to the Board . of Health . and these, ; with the ones held over from January, inctease the nuifnber in detention deten-tion to 86, which is six more than for the week preceding. ........ . |
