Snyder, Secretary P. J. Daly and County Chairman Chair-man J. E. Darmer were appointed as a committee to arrange for a mass convention con-vention of the party to be held In this city some time next month, at a date to be announced later, to nominate candidates candi-dates for Copgress' and Supreme Judge. Members of the State committee present pres-ent at the meeting were: Assistant City Attorney P. J. Daly, former United States Marshal B. B. Haywood, A- J. Weber. O. R. Cleaveland, former United States District Attorney Joseph Lipp-man. Lipp-man. Allen T. Saaford and ex-Senator Cannon, the representative of Weber county. Other members of the party, who are not members of the State committee, but whd took part In the deliberations, ware: County Chairmen J. E. Darmer, Mayor Earn Thompson, Chairman Fred J. Leonard of the Board of Public Works, City Recorder J. B. Moreton, F. R. Chrlstensen, clerk of the -Board of Pub -Ho Works; A T. Moon. Joseph M. Cohen and 8mlth Parker of Piute county. It was decided that the party should hare an organization In Summit and Tooele counties for the coming campaign cam-paign and the work of organization should commence at once. The organization of the party In other counties throughout the State was discussed, dis-cussed, but no definite action waa taken. At the present time the party has organizations organ-izations in Salt Lake, Weber and Juab counties. The question of a finance committee was the next subject discussed, which resulted re-sulted In the naming of a finance committee com-mittee as follows: W. Mont Ferry, chairman; chair-man; H. O. McMillan. David Keith. J. D. Wood, Wlllard T. Snyder. Thomas Homer and O. R. Cleaveland. i Secretary Daly waa Instructed to Invite Senator Julius C. Burrows of Michigan. 8enator Joseph W. Bailey of Texas and Mrs. Frederick Bchoff ot Philadelphia to attend the mass State convention when It is held and to deliver addressee.
