He was 65 years of and for fifty years had been a resident of Chicago. Chi-cago. Upon the organisation of the International Inter-national union., in 1869. Mr. George was elected its president, and served in that capacity for several terms. He was particularly particu-larly active in all that pertained to toe good ef that organisation for. many years, bat some time ago he retired from the printing trade, and had aince devoted his time, and energy to' legal work. |
