The success of Hal Reid 's "At Cripple Crip-ple Creek," and plays of similar character, char-acter, has shown that the popular taste appreciates something more than vaudeville vaude-ville or the growing weariness of plays which rely upon a dazzling array of j chorus girls. "At Cripple Creek" is a play dealing with the life in the famous fa-mous mining camp in the early '80s. Its characters are carefully drawn and true to life. It is in every sense an idvl of the Kooky mountains, and deals with a phasi' of border life heretofore untouched by the dramatist. This charming play will run at the Grand the balance of this week, with a matinee mat-inee on Saturduv afternoon.
