Wood of the United States has summoned a commission to the Philippines to investigate inves-tigate the conduct of certain army officers offi-cers .on duty in the islands, says the Call. He is keeping secret the object of his investigation, in-vestigation, and even the members of the commission declare that they do not know what they are to do. They will receive re-ceive their instructions when they land at Manila. v The following officers make up the commission: Capt. Ira L. Fredendall, Quartermaster's department; Capt.
