JUDGMENT OF LOWER COURT IS AFFIRMED The Supreme court yesterday handed down aa opinion sustaining and ertirtniog the judgment judg-ment of the lower court in the rase of W. . Johnson and the Bank of Commerce against C Frank Emery, E. O. Hinea and T. J. Nipper. Nip-per. The basis of the action waa the lerjing oa goods and furniture at the old Ford hotel to satisfy judgment against T. R. . Norris. Johnson brought suit to recoTer 15000 from the defendants on the ground that the lory waa illegal. The case waa tried In the lower I court an - the jury returned a verdict in favor of ie defendants. The Supreme court upheld the judgment. Johnson waa a partner of Norris, but asserted as-serted thst the greater portion of the goods attached belonred to him.
