The court train is an extra train made detachable, and it is worn slunjr from the shoulder. Embroidery wrought in silver is of a pattern to resemble a rose, the emblem of Spain as it ia of England. The bodice is cut low. having hav-ing a square decollege, and is embroidered embroi-dered with sliver roses and trimmed with point d'anglaise. The other dresses in the trousseau are a trio of morning gowns; ten evening gowns, eight evening even-ing party dresses, a dozen tea gowns, an equal number of morning dresses, scores of blouses and Innumerable hats, coats, wraps and shawls. - The four dosen night dresses which have been provided are marvels of the finest of cobwebby - lace and exquisite needlework. Each garment is embroidered embroi-dered with "E. V.," surmounted by the Spanish Imperial crown. It is computed that the gowns given by King Alfonso to his bride will represent rep-resent at least $26,000, because of the rich lace and embroideries lavished upon up-on them. . It is estimated that the cost of tho finished trousseau, including -the furs, must approximate $100,000 at the most mod eat computation, though this -will not represent .the whole of the lace, some of which . is practically priceless. When Ena becomes Queen she will be known as Queen Victoria, ' she having decided to assume that name. |
