Show MANY PEOSPECTOES IN YEBINQTON REGION Joseph E. Caine came in from Yering-ton Yering-ton last night, where he has been to let a contract for 100 feet of development work on the Yerington Copper company property, which is being operated by a company recently organised by himself and Charles D. Rooklidge. Mr. Caine is quite enthusiastic over the conditions in that section of the .country as he found them and says that the country is being staked out for a distance of twelve miles In the neighborhood of Yerington. Among those who have rushed Into that section is a large representation representa-tion of prominent Goldfleld mining men who have had prospectors in that territory terri-tory for several months. At the Yerington Copper there is a considerable tonnage of copper ore being mined which averages better than 20 per cent in the red metal, and shipments will be consigned to the local market from Wabuska, the nearest railroad point from Yerington. a distance of eight miles. These gentlemen are also the owners of the Wabuska gold mines, on which there has been considerable development work done and from which they will begin to make shipments within a short time. Mr. Caine says that there has been a great influx of people to that region by reason of the good values that have been discovered In the Mason Valley country as well as some fine discoveries made In the Walker River country, which is on the border of the Walker Indian reservation. reserva-tion.
